Mining Laser
There are 3 different types of mining laser that you can craft to enhance your mining abilities. While they all offer the same functionality, they each have a unique cosmetic look to match the style you prefer the most.
Modification Table
Each mining laser can be improved using upgrade modules at a modification station: increase it’s range of mining, increase the size of the area you are mining, allow for silk touch to be activated, create light in the darkness, increase its battery consumption and more! Each upgrade recipe and their attributes are explained within the handbook!
Batteries
The most important item in the add-on - the battery. Without batteries none of the gadgets and mining lasers will work! Make sure you have the ability to charge them with a charging station, otherwise you’ll be stuck with your regular old pickaxe!
Charging Station
Batteries won’t last forever, and the more you do with your gadgets the more power they consume, so make sure they stay charged using a charging station. Use the same fuel you use for a furnace with this station, then place your battery on top and wait until it's fully charged!
Building Gadget
The building gadget is a fully operational automatic building machine at the click of a button. After selecting your specific building block, and ensuring you have enough of the selected block in your inventory, you can choose the dimensions of the structure you wish to build within the gadgets settings.
Copy and Paste Gadget
Replicate structures in a second with this gadget. Select an area from one corner to the other, check the red outline of the area is suitable, copy the area, then switch to paste and see the magic! Of course, all of the needed items will be consumed from your inventory so you must ensure you have the required blocks!
Cut and Paste Gadget
Similar to the copy and paste gadget, this device allows you to move whole structures from one place to another. It’s as simple as the copy and paste gadget, but this time you don’t need to have the required blocks and instead the original building it saved into the device.
Destruction Gadget
Clear large areas easily with this gadget. Select an area of blocks to void and watch as the device vaporises the blocks before your very eyes. The bigger the area, the more battery is used! But be careful, anything in the area you set is destroyed!
Exchanging Gadget
The exchanging gadget allows you to swap one set of blocks for another. Built a building out of dirt but want to swap the dirt for wood? Easy! Select the area within the gadgets settings, ensure it has enough battery power, and have the right amount of wood in your inventory and press the button!
